Logical Personnel Solutions are looking for a Trainee Plant Hire Controller to start ASAP in a busy construction office.
Previous experience in the role is not essential as full training will be given.
The main responsibilities of the Plant Hire Controller is to look after the plant hire process by negotiating the best hire terms for the Company, take off hire notifications and maintain the Rental Management system.
On a day to day basis this will involve:
- Dealing with customer hire enquiries, negotiating best hire terms and taking off hire notifications.
- Correctly completing Hire Agreements, checking customer details and dealing effectively with all related paperwork.
- Maintaining the CRM database and ensure relating exception repairs are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Notifying customers by telephone and e-mail of any damage charges and processing associated paperwork for invoicing.
The successful Trainee Plant Hire Controller will ideally have some previous experience in a telephone-based customer service and/or sales role along with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to work under pressure in a busy construction office. The ability to negotiate and build relationships is essential.
Basic hours are 8:00am until 1:00pm Monday to Friday
